Double Podium at Gold Coast ☀️🏄‍♂️

Hey Guys,

How good was the weekend, to be back racing just down the road from home was unreal! Stoked to be back on the street circuit.

We made our way into the Top 10 Shootout thanks to setting the second quickest time but P4 was the best we could do when I had my solo lap.

Surprisingly, the race went flag to flag without a safety car so we were on the whole time, we ran long and managed to remain in the top four through the whole race.

Was hot out there that’s for sure, I think it was more than 60 degrees in the cabin... 🥵

It’s definitely tricky to pass especially around here, but we were locked in a good battle at the end with Dave and Will so that was cool, to be able to hold onto P3 for a surfboard was huge!

It was awesome to add another one to the collection here and nice to reward the team with a good result.

Started P4 on Sunday so wasn’t near the big crash but watching the replays it was huge, just glad to see everyone get out of the cars and be ok.

Once we got racing again, we went early in the stops looking for the undercut, and it worked, we leapfrogged Davo and got into second.

Towards the end of the race we just didn’t quite have the pace to fight for the win, but had enough to sit comfortably in P2.

Would have nice to be able to fight a little harder for the win but with two podiums from starting P4, we will take it.

Nice to move up into third in the Championship, just got to work hard to make sure we stay there in Adelaide!
