Chaz Mostert has claimed podium finishes across the weekend and won the round overall with Nathan Morcom at Round 2 of the Australian Production Cars Series at Winton Motor Raceway over the weekend.
- Chaz finished P2 in Race 1.
- Chaz finished P1 in Race 2.
- The duo won the Round Overall.
Race 1 – Position 2
After finishing 3rd in both Practice and Qualifying, Morcom had a strong start for the Direct Plasterboard Outlet Team and took the Race lead.
Swapping with Morcom, Mostert took over and continued to stretch their lead out for the majority of the Race.
Mostert was leading during his final stint but with 13 laps to go in the 100-lap Race he was forced into pit lane with a front left tyre coming off the rim.
Despite the issues with the Ford, Mostert was able to bring the Focus RS home for a Podium finish in 2nd place.
Mostert swapped with Morcom who did a double stint got the car up to P1 before the final pit stop where he swapped back with Mostert.
Race 2 – Position 1
The closing Race for Round 2 of the Australian Production Cars Series saw luck finally change for Mostert and the Direct Plasterboard Outlet Team.
Mostert took over from Morcom for the final stint where he was able to regain the lead and hold off the rest of the front-runners for the Race 2 win.
The final 300km race at Winton marked Mostert’s second Race Podium of the weekend and as a result the duo claimed the Round Overall.

MASSIVE THANKS TO THE DIRECT PLASTERBOARD OUTLET GUYS WHO PUT A LOT OF WORK INTO THE CAR IN THE BREAK AND WENT HARD ALL WEEKEND.”
Mostert is unable to take part in Round 3 of the Australian Production Cars due to the Supercars Townsville 400 Round, but will return with Morcom to take part in the remaining Rounds at Ipswich, Phillip Island and Wakefield Park.
Mostert will now prepare for Round 6 of the Supercars Championship at the Darwin TripleCrown on June 16-18, with all Races to be televised LIVE on Fox Sports.

- Round Three – Sydney Motorsport Park – July 7-9 – 4 x one hour races
- Round Four – Queensland Raceway – August 4-6 – 2 x 300km races, including Fight in the Night

- Round Six – Wakefield Park – November 17-19 – 2 x 300km races
